The idea of 4 alive EUROREGION grew up during the spring 2010, as continuation of our activities in the Neisse Euroregion. The main reason why we started to run our various initiatives in and for the Euroregion Neisse is that we feel a need to change the social environment here and to make this part of world more comfortable and usefull for living. We believe that our activities support the civic society and we want to open space of possibilities for young people (not only) living in this area - for example by doing workshops in schools or by youth exchanges between Czechs and Poles (Poláczek) or by organising intercultural festivals and happenings.
Of course, it is not only about feeling and believing, but it is also about indetifying needs and understaning these needs. For that we conducted a research, which was done by one of our members Ondřej Lochman, Ph.D. Outcomes can be found here.

3rd edition of PolaCzek finished in first weekend of Advent in Hradek nad Nisou. Participants form Poland and Czech Republic took part in a training, prepared and run workshops in schools in Hradek and Bogatynia, and during the evaluation meeting - prepared xmas worskhops and language animations for kids from Hradek. The publication maps two succesfull editons of czech polish project called Poláczek - Jesteśmy sousedé. This project is the base of long term cooperation within youth work in the czech polish crossborder. The publication includes information about project, comments of participants and trainers but also didactic part with descriptions of methods which were used. This publication is mainly for youth workers and theachers of civic studies.
